When you add that to the challenges we take on and solve together, you'll discover that at HARMAN you can grow, make a difference and be proud of the work you do every day.**Responsibilities**:- Make daily analysis of inventory levels to avoid any shortages components.- Make analysis to releases week by week to detect demand variations together with the Scheduler and customer analyst as required.- Make weekly planning orders to supplier base according to the current customer demand for service parts for the different customers/- Make shortage analysis of components for pilot build and follow up arrival on time.- Coordination with other areas as scheduling, customer analyst and PM for procurement of components per pilot build timing.- Negotiation with suppliers to improve lead-time, minimum order quantities and cost together with procurement area as needed.- Assure the communication and control with the supplier and procurement area as needed.- Assure the good receive of the material in the warehouse.- Assure in collaboration with customs and logistics team the arrival on time for the material.- Identify and implement improvements to reduce or avoid the obsolescence risk.- Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency of labor.- Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through established communication channels.- Set up SAP-ERP system related to materials as required to assure the correct (parameters, EDI, ASN, master data, scheduling agreements, discrete orders, etc.)- Assure high level of data and transactional integrity in the ERP system in order to achieve high levels of inventory accuracy.- Oversee all production materials planning cycles and transactions in order to achieve appropriate levels of inventory.- Minimize freight and premium freight services through the proper planning processes.- Implement lean manufacturing techniques as related to material handling and control.- Support product changes and inventory levels to assure mínimal obsolescence.- Lead and ensure proper obsolescence disposal, coordination with other areas as applicable.- In addition, other activities assigned by the direct supervisor or Sr. Manager.**Ba**s**i**c **Q**u**a**li**f**ic**at**i**on**s**:- Integrity.- Innovation.- Inclusion.- Teamwork & Respect.- Excellence.- Engineering, International Business, Finance or Administration Degree.- 2 - 3 years of related experience.
