Position Summary: We are recruiting for a Sourcing Leader to join our Power & Industrial (P&I) Division. The successful candidate will develop, control, and improve the supply chain in the Americas region, supporting increased equipment volume, improved lead times, and better cost positions to drive IAQ business growth.
This leadership role encompasses all of the Americas, requiring the establishment of a plan and strategy to find, negotiate, and develop suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and sustainability criteria, with execution through a team of individuals who are not direct reports.
Position Responsibilities: Develop a robust, high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective supply chain for IAQ equipment in the USA and Mexico, including manufacturing and assembly options.Find, negotiate, configure, and monitor the supply base, measuring it against safety, quality, delivery, and cost-effective KPIs.Provide feedback and support for supplier issues or improvement ideas to enable KPI enhancement.Collaborate with sales, product, and execution teams to improve the supply chain in support of business growth.Be an active member of the IAQ Americas leadership team, enhancing business performance, staff growth, and team engagement.Coordinate sourcing activities to ensure timely, quality, and cost-effective IAQ products and services.Potentially lead the creation of AAF assembly plants in the future.Evaluate and validate suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and performance.Create negotiation strategies to improve costs through profitable, time-defined agreements.Identify products and services needed for daily operations.Analyze risks and apply risk minimization techniques, such as FMEA.Person Specification: Education, Qualifications, and Affiliations Bachelor's degree in Commerce, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or similar.Proficient in English (spoken, written, reading & listening at a medium-high level).Experience At least 10 years of sourcing and supplier management experience in a manufacturing environment.At least 3 years in a leadership role as a Sourcing or Procurement Manager.Experience working with global teams across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Asia.Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse and inclusive organization.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Effective problem-solving, quantitative, and business analysis skills.Proficiency with office computer equipment and software.Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced office setting.Licenses or CertificationsDriving license.Passport and visa required; travel to the US will be necessary.Technical RequirementsKnowledge of manufacturing and APC industry.Experience negotiating with suppliers.Understanding of manufacturing business execution.Planning and experience in long-term agreements.Experience in material warehousing and stock negotiation.High-level use of Microsoft Excel or database software.Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.Ability to use various tools and software for data analysis and reporting.Understanding of market dynamics and good business judgment.Strong project management and leadership skills.Skills: Essential:
