Job Description Provides first level of supervision with both technical and administrative responsibility for a team of salaried staff. Primary responsibilities of the Americas Accounts Payable Supervisor: - Works with selected financial systems (Coupa and LN) interpreting and adhering to Caterpillar's / Solar general accounting practices and procedures and supervises salaried personnel who perform accounts payable functions throughout the Americas Region of varying complexity. - Support Analysis and approvals on Account Reconciliations as well as variations on accounts under AP scope. - Manages a group of 7 Staff Accountants and their related workload, prioritizes projects, assigns and reviews work and controls the daily operating environment. - Evaluates and reports on staff performance, participates in employee selection, provides career guidance and training direction, complies with personnel practices and promotes team rewards and successes. - Provides guidance and expertise to current team. - Motivates team members to work towards alignment to corporate finance strategy and individual and team goals and objectives and fosters an environment of teamwork and cooperation. - Communicates effectively within the team (Direct Reports and Management) and with internal customers. - Understands and manages internal customer requirements and expectations. - Provides AP KPI analysis for upper managements.Experiência y requisitosAccounts Payable Supervisor.
