As an **Americas Capacity Manager you will, **accountable for establishing capacity management processes, maintaining an overview of capacity and providing support for important regional decisions. You will contribute to the communication, data provision, analytics and interpretation of capacity.
You will report to Global Manufacturing Business Liaison.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage internal processes that provide information on demand/capacity, simulate the impact of capacity changes and lead improved management of resources to support main upcoming projects and priorities.
- Identify new capacity issues, highlight gaps in individual site capacity and develop potential solutions to balance capacity across the network.
- Periodically analyze demand vs. capacity to support business, operations and supply chain strategies.
- Lead capacity model standardization across the Americas building asset, technology and labor capacity methodologies.
- Liase with commercial and functional leaders serving as the first contact for product transfer feasibility studies.
- Collaborate with the continuous improvement and engineering teams supporting business process improvement projects focused on increasing capacity.
- Validate capacity models during annual on-site capacity workshops throughout the network.
- Build institutional knowledge and best practices around capacity management.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of working experience in supply chain functions / projects, operations or manufacturing.
- Power BI and Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) expertise important.
- Lean Preferred (Greenbelt or Blackbelt)
- Proficiency in English; work across multiple sites in the Americas region; ability to travel.
