Job Description : AMF Bakery Systems is looking for a self-motivated and optimistic Sales Engineer to support the LATAM Sales team.
As a Sales Engineer you will work within a world-class team to promote and support AMF Bakery Systems in Soft Bread & Roll Artisan Bread, Cake & Pie, Pizza and Flatbread and pastry & Croissant applications across multiple categories in South America.
The ideal candidate should be eager and have a proactive approach to understand AMF Products and how we can better meet customer needs.
They should possess excellent communication, listening and presenting skills with the ability to problem solve and make sound decisions.
This position will be partnering with Engineering, Project Management, and Marketing teams to deliver superior products and solutions to our clients.
Job Duties Include: Develop a deep knowledge of the features and benefits of equipment provided by AMF or of any other company which belongs to the same group as AMF Develop, update, and improve Marketing Material customized to LATAM Region needs Create excel sheets, documents, presentations, and/or translations as required to support Sales activities Help Sales Manager to submit complete and accurate sales orders for internal processing Help Sales Manager to Develop a deep understanding of the bakery industry in the region Continuously help Sales Manager to scout the market to develop new business opportunities Maintaining ongoing business development activities including keeping sales databases updated, generating and follow-up of proposals as well as day-to-day administrative tasks Establish a relationship with all members of AMF or any other company which belongs to the same group as AMF especially Production Engineering, Operations, and Applications Engineering groups to develop equipment orders that are profitable for AMF The Sales Engineer will assist with the execution of the strategy developed by management to expand our digital presence on the web, LinkedIn, etc.
That includes sharing institutional posts, look for potential new customers, find new leads and reinforce our Brand in the region Requirements: No previous sales experience needed but must be eager to learn and have a positive approach Collaborative working style with ability to work effectively across cultures Initiative-taking and proactive approach to customer relationships The ability to learn the technical application of equipment and match to the needs of the customer Experience with calculation English and Spanish writing and speaking Ability to prioritize work and complete projects on time, demonstrate drive and initiative, maintain confidentiality of information Attention to detail and ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and events Ability to remain calm under pressure, while managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines Ability to pivot and support different business areas as needed Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Willingness to work outside of business office hours (Rare but as needed) Challenger attitude, unafraid to ask customers to get out of their comfort zone Excellent communication, listening, and presenting skills Proven decision making and problem-solving abilities Willingness to travel 25+% of the time (weekend travel could be required to accommodate customer's schedule) Knowledge of the fundamentals of processing and baking of specialty products such as artisan bread, pastry, croissant, pizza, cake, and pie Commitment to continuous improvement Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electronic, Industrial Engineering AutoCAD and CRM experience preferred Benefits AMF Bakery Systems offers a competitive compensation, benefits package, and excellent opportunities for growth throughout our organization globally and within the Markel Food Group
