About the position: Join us as an Accounting Analyst to bring clean solar energy to Mexico! You will work with our Accounting team and play a critical role in achieving Bright's goals by aligning the Accounting team with the company's priorities. You will receive, organize, and deliver accounting information; audit invoices received and invoices issued; coordinate with lawyers' documentation of tax-accounting transactions; present tax declarations; and work alongside other teams to have auditable processes. The new team member will work very closely with the Head of Accounting. You should excel at attention to detail, be very comfortable in Excel (and Google Sheets), and thrive in communicating with third parties and internal teams. You should also be a fast and eager learner ready to soak up knowledge quickly and demonstrate proficiency and the ability to work autonomously effectively once trained.
Tareas Your tasks and responsibilities will be: Accounting Technical Skills: Collect and deliver monthly accounting information for Mexican entities. Create invoices for intercompany operations. Document accounting processes that involve other areas of the company. Audit and attention to detail Skills: Audit of invoices received and invoices issued. Collect evidence for audits. Creation of accounting paperwork for audits. Project management skills: Coordinate with lawyers' documentation of accounting transactions. Accounts Payable Management: Manage "gastos por comprobar". Record expenses on the accounting platform. Requisitos We're looking for someone who: Has at least two years of experience in accounting. Is comfortable speaking English and communicating concisely. Has a Bachelor's degree in accounting. Has the following skills: Aptitude to, ability to, and interest in quickly learning new capabilities. You will need to learn from other areas of the company quickly. Concise and effective communication. You should be able to quickly focus on what is important and prioritize accordingly. A sense of urgency and fast thinking skills. You're good at solving problems in short periods. Intermediate-advanced knowledge of Excel (and Google Sheets). You will work daily with these tools.
