The Cost Analyst at SEE, is responsible for the proper costing and valuation of materials used for production in our manufacturing facilities. The position has the responsibility to calculate and release accurate standard costs for all materials created, extended, or reactivated for Latin American and North American countries and other regions as requested. Duties include the development of cost models, accurate quotations, and detailed cost analyses. Why do we need you?
To create and update the standard cost of materials used in production/manufacturing.
To determine standard costs for all new materials, considering several scenarios, such as component scrap, run rates, and material substitution.
Calculate, mark and release standard costs in SAP or other manufacturing accounting systems.
STD Cost comparative analysis.
Prepare and execute cost runs (Annual GCR and local runs as needed).
Analyze BOMs and Routes of manufactured materials to ensure accurate standard cost release.
Coordinate with the Material Master Data team on approved production standards aligned with BOMs and routes.
Support all activities related to Controls/Compliance/SOX Testing, and Auditing. What skills do you need to succeed in the position?
Fluent English (conversational and written)
Experience in cost accounting, financial analysis for national or multinational industrial companies.
Basic understanding of supply chain dynamics including understanding key cost drivers, inventory(Inventory Turns, Safety Stock, etc.), and production processes.
Experience with SAP preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
