SUMMARY: GPD - Pricing Officer (Cost Analyst) plays a key role in elevating our customer's brands by keeping the profitability in business for apparel brand owners and retailers.
Pricing Officer creates Price strategy in collaboration with Commercial Team and CPL, from point of Cost estimating to Price list creation.
This position provides deep product and manufacturing cost expertise within a given product line by bringing insights, solutions, and pricing options to Commercial Team.
REPRESENTATIVE ACTIVITIES: Activities and duties will vary dependent upon functional area assigned.
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
- Support the company's margin and pricing strategic plans and profitability goals.
- Work with the sales team to design pricing strategies/programs aligned with product and sales strategy for revenue and margin recognition requirements.
Support strategic cost positioning for sourcing projects with regard to product costs, tariffs, freight, etc.
- Prepare and analyze customer pricing and develop opportunity analysis to support growth.
Recommend changes for optimal margin and revenue expansion (Reengineering).
Understand all pricing concepts and their importance to ensure their accurate, consistent implementation.
- Enter, maintain, and update system pricing to align with company goals.
Maintains current knowledge and expands knowledge of industry/market pricing procedures and best practices.
- Work closely with Sales and Customer Service to give a price by a Quote Letter.
Assist with special pricing requests from Globals Team: Grid Price, CM Analysis, Price Increase, etc.
Safeguard the accuracy and confidentiality of Pricing information.
- Customer Service First (internal).
Proactive and prompt follow-up.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date price list on the Systems and Platforms.
Manage multiple projects and exhibit effective organization.
- Foster communication within the Pricing Team, with other departments, and with management.
- Build relationships with key business leaders Seek out and participate in internal and external programs that facilitate personal and professional growth.
- Identify and discuss personal and professional growth goals with the leader.
**Qualifications**:
**We are looking for**:
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related
- 1-3 years of experience in product development areas, in manufacturing companies, management of International customers, in terms of product development, pricing, technical support.
Apparel, Packaging or Graphic industry desired.
- English advanced leve
- Good written, verbal and telephone communication skills.
- Good customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail & organizational skills.
- Strong technical aptitude.
