**Description**
As the Senior Collections Analyst you will work with key internal and external stakeholders to protect the financial position of CPKC through the timely collection of receivable balances due under customer contracts and public tariffs while developing and maintaining strong customers relationships. You will be responsible for analyze complex accounts, collect and maintain accurate and detailed records of all client interactions.
**Accountabilities**
- Monitor and collect past due accounts in a timely manner to protect CPKC's financial position.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions, including payment arrangements, promises to pay, and any disputes or issues that arise during the collection process.
- Strategically manage multiple escalated accounts in addition to a non-escalated portfolio while reviewing customer aging, managing all potential bad debit, DSO, aging.
- Achieve collection goals and objectives set by the organization while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with internal teams such as Operations, Marketing & Sales, and Credit to gather relevant information and ensure coordinated efforts in the collection process.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes by coordinating with other departments, such as Billing, Marketing & Sales, or Customer Service.
- Drill down to the root cause to resolve complex issues; working with leaders to ensure a go-forward process is in place.
- Build business cases to support write-offs or settlements.
- Drive process improvement by proactively identifying issues and propose solutions.
- Protect CPKC's value by keeping information confidential.

**Required**
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job related major field of study, Accountant,
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Billingue (English and Spanish)
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge SAP
- Strong facilitation, active listening, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with CFDI
- Ability to manage multiple sets of priorities and deliverable
**Preferred**
- Preparing & Analyzing data.
- Reports and dashboards
- S4 Hana
**Working Conditions**
- This position has a regular full time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday. There may be a need for occasional work after hours or weekends.
- This position may require mínimal travel up to 10% of the time.
