**JOB PURPOSE**:
- An import-export Analyst needs to have the skills to deal with the import and export process. This position must track all shipments and give status constantly. It coordinates shipping with customs agents for clearance on overseas deliveries. Import export Analyst also deals with quotes from prospective shippers and handles claims with insurance companies if any shipment problems happen to occur._
- An import-export Analyst main task is to provide efficient delivery logistics through data management. They fill out import-export documentation, compile carrier and route assignments, compute international fees for each shipment, and keep track of shipment payments and quotas. Much of this work is done using automated systems that can identify shipments, collect data, and register packages with government agencies._
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
**CONTINUOUS RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible to document and correctly coordinate shipments to Mexican and US Customs.
- Processing of import invoices (RM, fixed assets, FG, MRO) from JDG/TACNA to CPM/CPS
- Procedure for physical inspections of goods in JD's warehouse
- Control and forecasting of VAT payments (Approvals)
- Air imports (from LAX to CPM/CPS)
- COFEPRIS permits process.
- USMCA Application
- Rectification of Pediments
- Change of regimen
- Regularization
- Review consolidated pediments.
- Responsible for processing the import and export invoices, captured in the Annex 24 system, as well as the corresponding permit procedures, merchandise classification, etc.
- Constantly communication with the different transport companies as well Mexican and US Customs for the transmission of correct information between the different entities and achieve a correct process flow of information for the crossings before customs.
- Process requested reports for Import and Export to analyze information transmitted to Customs, (Values, tariffs, quantity, IGI, IVA, PROSEC, R8, USMCA) and check that it is correct.
- Responsible for the correct maintenance of the catalog of Annex 24.
- Participate and support in the different programs related to Foreign Trade
- Obtain documentation and Pedimentos for the correct file, whether physical or digital, as appropriate.
- Access to warehouse inventory in either MX or USA, Coordinate the check in or check out for relative to raw materials, equipment, samples, consumables or finished product.
- Compliance with the CTPAT, OEA program, as well as participating in the audits.
- Prepare and manage the different virtual Pedimentos between local suppliers.
**SPORADIC RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maritime imports (Ensenada/Long Beach port)
- Inbound import from Sweden, Denmark,CHN,Costa Rica
- Pick-ups in US
- Transportation logistics coordination
- Import and export Virtual transfers (including waste disposal with the recycler)
- **QUALIFICATIONS**_
- Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:_
- _Completed or truncated career in Foreign Trade and Customs, Global Trade Logistics, International Business, or related._
- _Age range from 23 to 50 years_
- _Problem solving and decision-making skills._
- _Must be able to work independently and as part of a team._
- _Must have effective communication skills, both oral and written._
- _Define, analyze, and propose solutions to import export problems._
- _Ability to successfully manage several projects simultaneously._
