Job description Trade Compliance Analyst - Export
- Comply Mexico Import-Export rules and regulations, free trade agreements, Incoterms,
- Process and lead the daily Export for location 2 and import activities for Thomson with Materials and Receiving department. (Process import & export Invoices on Annex 24)
- Ensures all procedures and policies are followed according to CTPAT & OEA certifications.
- Proactively identifies potential issues and effectively involves TC Supervisor and TC Manager to drive solution; handles routine escalations.
- Liaisons with key stakeholders to understand Import & export shipment needs and provides consistent feedback to the business units regarding shipment movement.
- Serves as main point of contact for exports from Mexico to US and any other country.
- Drives continuous improvement using tools and activities including: the Regal Business System (RBS)
- Responsible for monitoring Export Customs Transactions with MX and US Brokers as well as key stakeholders for Apodaca location No 2 and Thomson.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor Degree desired; consideration also given to equivalent related professional experience
- Knowledge of Mexican import-export rules and regulations, free trade agreements, Incoterms and critical reasoning skills with the ability to identify and solve problems
- Demonstrated ability improving engagement with team members
- Ability to analyze data ; Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, or related software

- Results-oriented, process improvement focused
- Ability to work cross functionally to achieve outstanding results
