About the position: Join us as a Strategic Finance Analyst to bring clean solar energy to Mexico! Work with our Strategic Finance team and play a critical role in achieving Bright's goals while ensuring alignment between the team and the company's priorities. You'll be responsible for ensuring that, as a company, we comply with our numerous loan agreements, serving as one of the points of contact for our lender partners for their reporting needs and delivering a lender experience that lives up to the Bright brand. Additionally, you will get exposure across Bright working with other teams (e.g., FP&A, Accounting, Data and Ops teams) to work collaboratively and ensure cross-team communication is set up for success within the Finance team to deliver an excellent lender satisfaction experience. Tareas Your tasks and responsibilities will be: Financial Analysis: Analyzing and be a thought partner to optimize capital structure and funding strategies to ensure long-term financial health Assist in developing financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions. Project Finance Support: Assist in preparing documentation for project finance transactions, including data gathering, financial modeling, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Aid in ensuring compliance with lender requirements and regulatory guidelines, including data collection, reporting, and documentation. Provide general support to the finance team, including administrative tasks, data entry, and ad hoc analysis as needed. Team Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, lenders, investors, and regulators to gather information, support project execution, and foster positive relationships. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, and contribute to improving reporting processes. Playing a key role in the annual strategic planning process, including the development of long-term financial plans. Requisitos We're looking for someone who: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. High proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (or its Google counterparts) Good finance foundation - You are able to interpret financial statements and draw conclusions/insights Fluency in English and Spanish is required Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Analytical Thinking Has the ability to methodically assess financial data, examine projects, read and interpret legal documentation regarding current lender contracts and report details, and identify key factors influencing decisions with current lenders Attention to detail Can accurately and thoroughly comprehend, analyze, and execute tasks by focusing on the specifics and ensuring that nothing is overlooked or omitted.
