- Follows a wide variety of generally defined procedures to handle problems which typically require identifying solutions by selecting from alternative courses of action. Provides guidance to co-workers or new employees. Handles inquiries of moderate scope and complexity. Exercises authority to independently act within guidelines.
- Exhibits demonstrated expertise in all aspects of Human Resources support by performing a wide variety of specialized duties. Applies highly developed analytical and coordination skills to perform tasks and activities. Functions as a key HR resource to client organizations/plants and regularly provides guidance on established policies and procedures. Manages unique situations and proposes client solutions through influence, as well as interpretation of HR policy and practices. Has extensive knowledge of assigned business/location with a comprehensive understanding of the overall health of the organization.
- Jobs at this job level generally support Business HR Manager/Director, large plants, and/or larger business client organizations.
- Major Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Functions in a lead role and routinely engages in mentoring and training all levels of employees. Uses theories and practices relevant to the function to provide guidance and/or training to support level co-workers within the same or job-related work group. May oversee work of contract personnel.
- Most problems that occur in this job are generally varied. Solutions are obtained by gathering facts, analyzing information, and determining the appropriate solution from multiple options based on knowledge of past practices and prior experience in similar situations. Problem solving may include the use of experience to solve complex, interrelated problems. Most complex problem solving may require the use of in-depth analysis and increased judgment to solve complicated problems.
- Exercises authority to independently act within guidelines, selecting from alternative courses of action, with greater adaptation to circumstances as necessary. Independently administers and communicates established policy and procedures. Decisions or actions may impact the operational effectiveness of work operations, schedules, or performance goals. Uses influencing skills to support general adherence to policies, procedures, guidelines.
- Has a major impact on the support activities of the direct work group/team, providing work direction, guidance, and training; affects related activities within connected work groups/teams.
- Skills And Expertise
- Provides entry level generalist support on a variety of human resources activities.
- Develops and produces various administrative reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
- Supports recruiting/interviewing/testing and on-boarding of hourly and salaried employees.
- Monitors facility headcount and evaluates overtime percentages, turnover data, and absenteeism.
- Increases awareness of employee relations climate within the organization.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors' degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related.
- 1+ years of experience working as and HR analyst, Employee relations, or related relevant experience.
- Advance Excel and Microsoft Office package.
- Intermediate English level B1+
- Strong Knowledge in Mexican labor law.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Advance Knowledge in Workday.
