.**Description**This position implements billing operations to maximize effectiveness and accuracy. This position audits the accuracy of billing information entered in the system and monitors the operation of the billing systems. It develops solutions to billing issues and works with systems design team to implement new features.**Accountabilities**- Provides assistance to market managers to ensure accurate price creation.- Provides assistance in customer and interline settlement disputes and is accountable for the accuracy and timeliness of revenue recognition on a daily basis.- Ensures settlement through the interline settlement process disputes and claims.- Identifies, defines and communicates system defects.- Monitors upgrades of the RMS system.- Maintains a direct channel of communications with Customers, Marketing, Sales, Business Solutions (e.G., Customer Solutions and Customer Billing), Transportation and other key departments to ensure the Company's revenue is recognized in its entirety.- Exemplifies KCS Vision, Values, and Culture interactions with coworkers, business partners, customers and stakeholders.**Required**- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job related major field of study- Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience**Preferred**- Three (3) years Railroad transportation experience**Working Conditions**- This position has a regular full time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday.
