**Department overview**:
The Global Partner Analysis ("GPA") team supports the Worldwide Partner Compensation and Promotion Committee ("CPC") and drives the global assessment processes for our partner roles across all Bain regions, offices and practices. The team also leads critical initiatives for the Worldwide Managing Partner, Regional Managing Partners, Chief Leadership Officer, COO, CFO, and Board of Directors. Its members interact on a regular basis with many senior leaders in the firm.

Partners and Expert Partners are the most senior members of the consulting staff at Bain. They typically have many years of experience leading client engagements, internal roles (offices and client areas of expertise) and are critical to the current and future success of the company. They act as advisors to senior executives and coaches/mentors to generations of developing Bain consultants.

Over the past 5+ years, Bain has invested into establishing a new partner role ('Expert Partner'), focused on partner-level talent with differentiated skill spikes than generalist partners, while equally accomplished.
