Make your mark in FP&A Area
Will be in charge of the expense management oversight, including the preparation of annual Budget and the monthly rolling Forecast, as well as monitoring financial controls, analysis of monthly financial company performance, employee headcount analysis.
Analysis of expenses allocations, areas KPI's supports the analysis.
It is a key position for FP&A Area, also which is essential to prepare comprehensive expense performance to senior leaders, develop indicators/tools to ensure spending is aligned with full year budget and provide key information for board's of directors meetings in a timely manner.
Due to the complexity and high volume of Mexico this position is key to ensure that an adequate framework is in place for the control and management expenses for AIG Mexico.
How you will create an impact
- Provide for in depth, analysis on expense variances vs. plan and prior.
- Support during the coordination and analysis, for annual budget preparation.
- Provide information and assist in budget preparation as needed; this includes gathering, assembling, and formatting data, and preparing analysis for budget
- Work closely with group to resolve budget/forecast issues.
- Validate cost savings analysis and ensure compliance with documented procedures.
- Identify risk of exposure to compliance with expense controls and budget.
- Support in the preparation of reports for delivery to the different Departments and Profits in a timely manner.
What you'll need to succeed

- Strong analytical background with strategic thinking capabilities and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of accounting, treasury, internal controls, financial systems, and processes
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in writing
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Ability to multi-task, consistently meeting deadlines on multiple projects and activities
- Work effectively in a team environment and in building collaborative relationships with peers and with other stakeholders
- People Managerial skills
- Proficiency in English is required
- Proven experience in reporting to the CNSF mainly for RR's Reports and all the regulatory requirements for Insurance institutions, that is a Plus.

- Learning disposition
- Bachelor´s degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Experience: 5+ years of professional accounting experience & experience in insurance industry.
- FP&A knowledge related with Budget and Forecast processes.

- University Degree with Accounting major or equivalent.
