**THE ROLE**
We are looking for a data analyst who will collaborate closely with the Professional Beauty + Retail Hair customer service to manage customer and material master data.
The analyst will be responsible for providing ongoing assistance to the team to provide data quality, accuracy, and completeness in helping drive business opportunities throughout the Wella organization.
The analyst will also build and maintain data reporting tools, help with day-to-day business processes and operations, and work with cross-functional teams to drive improvement projects.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage the master data management processes related to the creation, maintenance, and quality of all customer, pricing, and material master data for Retail Hair division in North American region.
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize large data sets; Manage and maintain data integrity for Customer Service and Master Data teams.
- Assist with daily business operations and provide BIC customer service.
- Define new and identify existing improvement opportunities for end-to-end MD and logístical processes including generating SOPs, job aides, and trainings to guide and standardize work efforts.
- Manage the data requirements for the implementation of new locations, new products, and projects including user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Develop, build, and maintain automated reports, dashboard, and tools utilizing Excel VBA Macros and SAP Scripting.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Education: BA/BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Statistics, MIS, or related field.
- Experience: 1-3+ years' experience in supply chain operations, master data management, or data analysis.
Essential:
- Technical Skills: MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, functions), MS PowerPoint.
- Communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly, transparently, concisely, and on a timely basis with leadership.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work collaboratively across different styles.
Develop strong partnerships.
- SAP knowledge and previous master data experience is a plus.
Desirable:
- Aptitude for problem solving; proven ability to create, implement and measure new processes.
