Our people make us who we are, and we create incredible products and experiences that empower us to THINK OUTSIDE.- JOB SUMMARY:As Data Analyst, you'll be a key member of a big team working on Polaris implementing the appropriate continuous improvement and Lean methodologies to maximize productivity, capacity and throughput while minimizing lead time and WIP trough reliable reporting and be instrumental in helping the business make data-driven decisions.- ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze data and document recommendations for process development and/or improvement.Design, implement and streamline processes to overcome bottlenecks and improve operational efficiency within the organizationPrepare Executive Reports analyzing complex issues in a global environment and demonstrate success in developing/managing management reports and processes to collect and maintain business data.Provide support and guidance to junior analysts in report creation.Develops and updates process documentation and procedure instruction.Drive the tools of Operational Excellence including 5S, value-stream mapping, standard work, cell design, pull systems, single piece flow, Kanban, SMED and TPM/OEE.Develop a culture of problem-solving that spans from 5 Whys to CAPA/CAR.Establish visual KPI presentation and monitoring techniques that support Lean daily management.Increase associate engagement by training associates in continuous improvement tools, cascading ownership and responsibility, and motivating kaizen participation.Provide business operations support for Strategy, Partner & Operations teams projects and initiatives.Partner with the site Accounting team to calculate and verify cost savings and prepare reporting documentation.Work in safe and healthy manner, strictly following all safety rules and regulations.Maintain a neat, clean, orderly work area.Complete company provided training.Perform special projects as assigned.- SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance in a quantitative field; or strong equivalent experience (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.)Intermediate to advanced SQL experience writing complex queries, user-defined functions, and stored procedures, and tuning query performance.Skilled in data visualization tools & strong Project Management skills.High Performer as Lean Tech at Polaris or 3 years of experience in BI
