POSITION SUMMARY Develop and manage cost estimates of manufacturing and quotation selling price according to the cost model required by each customer, in order to provide to Account Managers with the information for calculating profit margins, forecasts and business planning.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES
Analyze material and labor price agreement in order to ensure the quality of quote.
Participate in weekly meetings both internal as well as external (with YNA/YIPL) in order to maintain communication between the three teams as updates and workload.
Maintain direct communication with other departments related with Costing, such as engineering, sales and purchasing, in order to ensure timely customer response.
Process costing requisitions indicated in the Beams system for analysis and delivery to sales department.
Utilize main costing tool GCT (Global Costing Tool) in a basic basis for quote generation.
Search, extract and import BOM (Bill of materials) out of Harness Explorer for comparison analysis against drawing.
Comprehend and interpret the wire harness drawing components and the required engineering changes in order to get an accurate quotation for the customer.
Analyze the BOM (Bill of materials) structure for better accuracy in pricing calculation vs labor.
Search quote missing prices in GPDB and create price request to purchasing in case it does not exist in order to show the impact of the engineering change.
Enter cost information inside of BEAMS (Business and Engineering Application Management System).
REQUIREMENTS Degree Requirements:Business Administration/ Engineering bachelor's degree or equivalent
