LOC5001: Carrier - Plant A, Galeana 469 Ote, Santa Catarina, 66350 MexicoABOUT THIS ROLEThis position will be responsible for our global IT asset management program leveraging our Policies, Procedures, and activities within our ServiceNow instance and other platforms that are integrated.
The Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst will work closely with the Asset Management team, suppliers, customers, and other supporting team members to enable and improve the lifecycle management of software assets, including but not limited to improvements in procedures and operations involving support and maintenance contract agreements, asset procurement, and asset disposition.
The SAM Analyst will have a primary role in creating and improving processes in areas where existing approaches are immature or non-existent and in helping to guide Asset Management strategy going forward.
The successful candidate will have a solid background in Project Management, Process Improvement, and Asset Management principles and will bring with them an understanding of how IT Asset Management can contribute to the financial well-being of the Digital IT organization.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with customers (both IT & Business) to gather business and functional requirements, map existing processes, and assist with process re-design.
Lead various IT Asset Services projects (New functionality/technologies, Process enhancement/improvements).
Design, build, maintain, and update process documentation that address all aspects of usage and to ensure compliance.
Follow up on critical and/or complex issues/actions.
Complete software entitlement and purchase tasks from Business Demand.
Assist in purchase requisitions for software and/or hardware.
Assist in ServiceNow idea creation based on requirements gathering.
Work with suppliers that integrate with or support the asset lifecycle (examples: hardware re-sellers, disposal vendor, asset management database software vendor).
Other duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTSLanguage Skills: Adequate English level to handle fluent and assertive conversations across global teams (written and spoken).
Education & Experience: IT / Software Asset Management (or equivalent) ? 5+ years w/ Bachelor's or ? 3+ years w/ Postgraduate.
Use of ServiceNow for executing both Hardware and Software Asset Management ? 3+ years.
Develop and document new processes, RACI matrices, and workflows/process maps (MS Visio or equivalent) ? 3+ years.
Field of studies ? Computer Information Systems or related.
Additional skills & experience: Efficient Microsoft Office 365 skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Knowledge of Infrastructure and Information Technology Hardware & Software.
Demonstrates an understanding of the IT Asset Lifecycle.
Demonstrates an understanding of Software License entitlements and purchasing.
Desire to continually learn about new technology and analyze how it might best be applied.
Self-motivated and proactive individual.
Enjoys being part of a team and networking with people.
Preferred: Possesses knowledge of Project Management agile methodologies.
Possesses strong process and policy documentation skills.
Possesses experience in ServiceNow ITSM platform.
Possesses experience in Flexera One software platform.
Demonstrates ability to lead small projects within Digital Technology discipline.
