**JOB DESCRIPTION**This role needs someone that can manage strict deadlines, have maniacal focus on details and quality of deliverables (internal data reports, project presentations, business cases), can ramp up quickly the learning curve for understanding amex business model, KPIs, financials and info sources.Teamwork and collaboration attitude are a must to ensure goal achievement for the area.Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Centralize several planning activities ranging from strategic planning, portfolio analytics, building performance dashboards and managing P&L reporting- Strategic Planning includes co-leading the analytics team to develop skills that combine external and internal information with Amex business priorities to build analysis that provide insights to achieve our goals.
Evolve the planning team to produce presentations for the Senior VP with top quality in formatting, wording, and data accuracy, in a timely manner.
Finally, manage the planning team deliverables and prioritize according to the Vice-presidency needs ensuring meeting deadlines- MIS & Reporting includes build and document the internal strategy across Acquisition LOB for data sourcing leveraging Cornerstone, Power BI, Tableau and other sources and developing user-friendly interfaces to avoid the need of programing for most common queries, produce and automate a monthly LOB Decks- There is a need to understand AXP and its processes.
Needs to communicate clearly and lead conversations and have common sense for timely escalations.
**QUALIFICATIONS**- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of related work experience- Knowledge of Payments Industry and natural curiosity for understanding new trends- Strong Python or SQL programing skills- Experience in the industry, banking, consultancy or research agency- Strong at building presentations / telling the story through a deck (completely essential)- Highly detailed oriented- Strong relationship management skills, people oriented- Effective at driving collaboration, influencing and working with cross functional partners at all levels- Excellent communication skills- Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and manage multiple data requests follow ups- Fluent English Spoken and written
