**Title**: Analyst, Thematic Indices Product Management
**Location**: Mexico City
The Thematic Indices team at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI) is seeking an Analyst to support its initiatives in both the US and globally. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as a product manager, providing S&P DJI's clients with indexing solutions in growing areas of the thematic investment landscape. This multifaceted role includes serving as the owner of the product development and maintenance process as well as the financial health of the product line.
The Role
The Senior Analyst will play an integral role within Thematic Indices Product Management - the global team responsible for the commercial success of Thematic indices. The role includes the following key responsibilities:
Help define and execute the product development strategy, considering broad market trends towards sustainable investing norms
Support the suite of Thematic Indices and products via analysis and content creation for thought leadership materials (blogs, white papers, videos, and other media)
Work closely with Research and Design team on index design
Plan, coordinate, and implement required tasks to ensure a smooth and timely launch of new indices
Collaborate with product management team members globally and support global initiatives

**Qualifications**:
Undergraduate degree required. Masters degree in a relevant field or progress towards a CFA Charterholder status a plus
2-5 years of relevant work experience
Self-driven with strong motivation to research and innovate on new ideas
Strong multi-tasking capabilities is a must for this dynamic role that touches on every aspect of the index life-cycle
Strong analytical and quantitative skills are essential, comfortable working with large datasets
The position requires interacting with sophisticated clients. The ability to learn and ask questions is paramount
Programming skills (Python, R, SQL, VBA, others) are desirable
Knowledge of financial packages such as FactSet, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Barra, Axioma, etc. is desirable

The Team
Focused on developing solutions for a broad range of clients, the Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities (FICC) team is responsible for the P&L of outcome-oriented index solutions such as iBoxx, bond indices globally including ESG indices, CDS indices, Commodities and Alternatives. The Role
The team is seeking a Senior Analyst to support and promote our Fixed Income Core and ESG bond indices product suite globally. The Senior Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the team as they maintain current and develop new products, by performing and producing analytical work within and across teams as pertaining to the Fixed Income product families.
The Senior Analyst will, alongside commercial teams, will be a key player in developing and executing critical team processes that support the development and achievement of the Fixed Income business strategy. This is a highly technical role, but also requires effective collaboration skills while having a commercial-focused mindset in achieving the team's strategic priorities. In addition to being a hands-on Product Manager, the Senior Analyst will be an integral team member and collaborate across adjacent teams to achieve project goals.
