**Job Description Summary**: GE Aerospace is inventing the future of flight in Services Technology group along with teams like Services Modeling and Analytics, expert staff in the creation of Analytics for the biggest aviation commercial product lines like LEAP, CFM56, or CF34.
The purpose of Analytics organization is to transform field data into actionable information about engine field capability by developing, deploying, and maintaining Probabilistic & Physics Based Analytic models.
We are looking for an engineer interested in taking the ownership of Probabilistic & Physics Based Analytics Methods for CF34 Fleet Management.
The Engineer owns the development of Analytical solutions and models to solve technical and program issues involving field issues: (Time On Wing forecast, unexpected engine removals, SV forecasting, SV workscope & strategy, contract management, SV Costs, SV material forecasting, and Fleet Model pressures).
This role also requires working closely with the Product Line and Customer Teams in the development of analytics and working root cause analyses.
The engineer will be the first and key point of contact with the stakeholders and customers, working constantly on relevant activities for the business, a role that will ensure technical growth and exposure at high management levels.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Full responsible (and first point of contact) for CF34-10 Severity Adjusted Weibulls model (Engine failure modes probabilistic model).
- Support in the execution of CF34 fleet Shop Visit Classification process.
- Work in the Fleet Model strategy conception and execution (Define along with the manager and experts what are the next steps and the strategy to follow, participating in key meetings and creating relationships that will benefit the site).
**Requirements and Qualification**
- BS, Master's, or PhD degree in: Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Physics / Data Science & Analytics (STEM related fields).
- Demonstrated experience in Intermediate - Advanced Applied Statistics.
- Demonstrated Intermediate-Advanced experience in Digital Data Analysis, Analytical Methods, & Problem Solving.
- Demonstrated Intermediate-Advanced Python Programing skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge in engine architecture & flow physics.
- Disciplined, innovative, self-driven, and that can work independently without supervision.
- Demonstrated ability in managing projects and execute strategic processes schedules.
- Demonstrated presentation & story-telling skills: ability to communicate with Senior Leadership.
- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Demonstrated experience building data driven solutions based on technical requirements.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, leadership, & critical thinking experience.
- Capable of coaching others to accomplish assignments, and ability to work in multidisciplinary & global teams.
