We are seeking a proactive Android Engineer with hands-on experience in building Android applications to help us continue raising the bar of our mobile experience.
This role has high growth potential in a collaborative environment as you will have the opportunity to build countless features from scratch and dive into the latest and greatest of upcoming Android technologies.
This is a distributed team, so being comfortable collaborating in a remote environment is critical.
Grow with us!What You'll DoCollaborate with our team of Android engineers, iOS engineers, product, design, and QA to design, develop, test and maintain our codebase with emphasis on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.Coding with Retrofit, Room, Android Architecture Components libraries, Jetpack, Espresso.Stay up-to-date with the latest Android platform trends, libraries, and best practices to continuously improve development processes.Contribute to the overall mobile architecture and design discussions.Identify and address bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues within the application.Share your thoughts on product features, the user experience, or literally anything else across the company.Opportunities to travel a few times a year to meet with coworkers in various locations in North America.What You Have2+ years of professional experience in native Android app development.Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages.Experience with Android Studio, Android SDK, and third-party libraries
