Heraeus Electro-Nite Mexico (HENMX) is seeking for Application Engineer Steel, who will contribute to the expansion and success of the Steel's business in Mexico. The position requires leveraging technical expertise, market knowledge, and collaboration with sales and applications teams.Additionally, the role focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction through effective product implementation and resolution of any customer complaints. Ultimately, the objective is to achieve sales targets and strengthen Heraeus Electro-Nite's position as a leading global supplier of sensors for molten metals in the Steel segment.Key responsibilities:Technical Sales: To boost steel sales. The role involves liaising with sales teams to promote and support the HEN steel products at customer locations. This includes highlighting the value of the HEN Steel portfolio, identifying potential sales opportunities, and prioritizing specific customers, to effectively communicate the advantages of the products and solutions. The objective is to meet sales targets and significantly contribute to the overall business growth.Team Collaboration and Training: Provide training, motivation, and best practice transfer to local Steel sales teams, ensuring they are equipped to effectively promote and sell steel products. This collaboration is crucial for the success of the global Steel business.Project Management: Implementing field commissioning projects, including technical support, instrumentation calibration, and the deployment of steel software packages, will be a key part of the responsibilities.Product Management: Supporting all steel-related products, including business and product development, addressing customer complaints, and supervising implementation at customer sites.Marketing and Support: Contribute to creating and improving marketing materials, support tools, and technical documentation for Steel products. Provide support for exhibitions, customer events, and specialized presentations.Competitive Analysis: Monitor and benchmark competitors' offerings to ensure that Heraeus Electro-Nite remains at the forefront of the industry, providing insight for decision-making and product development.Profile:Master's degree in engineering with at least 3 years of industry experience.Knowledge of metallurgy, materials technology, and steel processes, along with an advanced understanding of thermal analysis.Fluent in English (oral and written), with additional languages considered a plus.Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively engage with individuals from diverse cultures.Analytical thinking, with basic knowledge of experimental design and statistical analyses.Hands-on mentality, structured mindset, strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, open-minded, creative with sense for initiative.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and preferably SAP.Be willing to travel (up to 50%).#J-18808-Ljbffr
