Job Description The purpose of this job is to manage and prepare the quotations for Mechanical Seal and Seal Support system RFQ from OEM Sales team in Americas' region.
Selected candidate will report to Application Engineering Supervisor / Engineering Manager in Mexico – Global Engineering Center.
Project Engineer is responsible for reviewing and right selection of mechanical seal and seal support system equipment and associated technologies to meet customer requirements.
This job requires the use of engineering judgment, and the application of standard engineering techniques to develop designs for customers.
Focus is on the proper development of designs and standards for use in a variety of application quotations for fluid control systems.
Systems experience of relevant industry standards API 682, B31.3, ASME VIII, etc.
is preferred.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Instrumentation/Chemical Engineering are preferred.
Work experience from centrifugal pumps and API 682 mechanical seal industry.
Minimum 3 years' experience to include engineering design, instrumentation, manufacturing knowledge is essential.
Advanced english Working knowledge of personal computing and application software in engineering design and simulations.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, changing priorities and reassign priorities to complete assignments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
