.Join our team:About the role:L2 Applications Operational Support analysts experienced in deployment, monitoring, incident, issue resolution, and escalation help us create industry-leading end-to-end customer experiences for next-gen video and digital home solutions, incorporating superior performance, reliability, and flexibility by design. We are the Future Friendly Home Services group, responsible for the end-to-end technology development and operations of TELUS' Optik TV services, video, and over-the-top services, broadband network capabilities, smart home solutions, and software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) solutions.Main responsibilities:- CI/CD Pipelines L2 resources must have the ability to pull/push pipeline changes to the pipeline repository. Engage Dev when required.- Follow the defined process in handling (MOP) reported Major Incidents by sending incident communications- Verification L2 requires a set of tests to perform post deployment to exercise the newly deployed product- KPIs, Errors ,Alert & Alarms must be documented.- Follow the Problem, Change & Incident Management process.- Triage & Ticketing Working on tickets assigned by the L1 team such as Monitoring, real customer incidents.- Able to escalate to the L3 team If the solution is not provided at Level 2- Perform ticket triaging and ticket management- Proactively drive process improvements and collaborate with various teams**Required Skills**:- Must Have hands on Containerization tools - GKE is Preferred.- Knowledge on Monitoring Tools such as New Relic, Splunk, Dynatrace- Working in a Microservices/API related environment- Troubleshooting Skills - Have to check the logs and identify the root cause to fix the production issues as part of incident management.- Need to coordinate with different teams to resolve the defects in production releases.- Database operations experience including backup, restore, identifying slow queries, replicas, etc.- Demonstrated ability to use DB LB - MaxScale or other similar technologies- Non- SQL expertise- Experience with Elasticsearch database & Apache Cassandra database- Monitoring - Experience with Splunk and familiar with queries (the dashboards for monitoring are provided but need to query logs to get to the bottom of the issue)- Proficiency with Dynatrace or other Application Performance Tools (APM)- Experience with Scripting Languages such as Terraform and Ansible- Knowledge of Agile tools - Jira and Confluence- Able to work under a rotating shift schedule, if required.- Advanced communication English skillsRequired Experience:- Mid- Senior Level 8+ YearsEqual Opportunity Employer:At TELUS International, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace
