We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bug Fixer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and fixing bugs within our applications. You will be responsible for reviewing and managing bug reports submitted via JIRA and ServiceNow, replicating issues, troubleshooting solutions, and implementing light enhancement fixes. Your role will involve working closely with our development team to ensure smooth and efficient bug resolution.Key Responsibilities:· Bug Management: Review and analyze bug reports submitted through JIRA and ServiceNow. Assess the validity of reported issues and prioritize them based on impact and urgency.· Troubleshooting & Fixing: Replicate reported issues to understand the root cause, troubleshoot solutions, and implement fixes or enhancements as needed.· Collaboration: Work directly with the development team to communicate findings, provide updates, and ensure alignment on bug resolutions and improvements.· Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of bug reports, fixes, and enhancements. Contribute to building and updating knowledge bases using Confluence or similar tools.· Application & Database Interaction: Navigate and query databases using SQL, and work with data logs to support troubleshooting and resolution. Experience with Oracle and DB2 is a plus.· Tool Utilization: Utilize tools such as GitLab for version control and Datadog for monitoring and logging to support bug tracking and resolution efforts.· Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to and maintain foundational libraries and orchestration knowledge using tools like Confluence, Ballerina, Kafka, or similar.Required Skills and Qualifications:· Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java (required). Python is a plus.· Database Knowledge: Strong skills in SQL. Experience with Oracle and DB2 is beneficial.· Tool Proficiency: Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, GitLab, and Datadog. Familiarity with Confluence, Ballerina, Kafka, or similar tools is advantageous.· Troubleshooting Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a troubleshooting mindset.· Time Zone Availability: Willingness to work US Eastern Time (ET) or Central Time (CT) zones.· Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively as an extension of the development team and build effective knowledge bases.#J-18808-Ljbffr
