The team is currently seeking a talented Operations Manager to support our operations growth and ensure scalability across the region.Key job responsibilitiesWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysManage an environment concerning the delivery of Amazon orders direct to our customers, subject to ever-rising volume and complexity, operating on a 24/7 basisManage day-to-day relationships with multiple Delivery Service Providers (DSPs)Drive operational goals and metrics for your Delivery Station. Communicate the vision to your teamPresent operational metrics regularly to the senior leadership teamProblem-solve for closing gaps between performance and goalsHire and develop top talent. Create and implement a talent plan for the site including talent acquisition, performance and career management, learning and development, succession planning, and employee engagementWork with key business partners such as Transport & Sortation, DSP Management, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES and EngineeringPartner with the AMZL Delivery Station under the roof (UTR) management team to establish and maintain quality control standardsProactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean toolsStrategic planning and forecasting to appraise performance and problem resolutionCreate and implement improvements to our transportation network that deliver flexible and efficient products on behalf of our customersEnsure procedures are followed for safety, building security and product loss preventionBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience5+ years of general experienceEnglish Fluency3+ Years as people managerPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMBA or similarAbility to deal with ambiguityAbility to deal with changing prioritiesDemonstrated ability to successfully develop others into higher levels of leadership in an organizationSolid understanding/background from Last mile operationsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
