As an OB Area Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop your own team of Amazon Associates in a distribution warehouse environment. Your main focus will be motivating, mentoring and coaching your team. As an OB Area Manager, you will be in charge of part of the operation of our work centers during an assigned shift. These operations involve the management of human, technological and physical resources to ensure the correct execution of the daily operation plan aligned with results.
**Job requirement**:
- This role is fully onsite and requires flexibility to work and rotate shifts: weekends, holidays, and/or overnight shifts.
- Ability to work overtime both in peak season and as needed.
Key job responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of the site, overseeing the operation that focuses on the delivery of Amazon orders direct to customers
- Lead a direct/indirect team to ensure that you have a safe work place, properly trained people, and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs
- Support and assign job duties to process assistants
- Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when needed
- Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs
- Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention
- Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
- Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality
