The primary goals of this role are strengthening the hotels' social presence, personality, and social channel quality, increasing awareness of the Mexican hotels across social media, and maximizing profitability from social media.
This position is also responsible for collateral and content creation to elevate the quality of assets and initiatives to match the brand.
The person is also responsible for the execution and management of the marketing plan focusing on achieving the goals established.
This position will liaise with the Area teams in Mexico, PR agencies, Operations, Sales, and various others as needed.
- Social First Content through Owned Channels_
- Working closely with the properties operations department and Area PR & Communications - Mexico on the content planning / creation / grid aesthetics for all properties within Mexico in line with the brand vision, editorial lines, and local activations.
- Own planning, execution, and scheduling of owned social media posts on the Mexican channels (IG, Facebook, and LinkedIn).
Will have sole posting, content creation responsibility for both properties.
- Increase awareness of hotels as a luxury brand through exceptional storytelling and produce engaging content across existing and new social media formats.
- Work with Area PR & Communications Manager - Mexico and the Divisional Brand & Marketing team to ensure the region's social content calendar is amplified through the global brand channels.
- Work with the PR teams and PR Agency to understand local initiatives that can be amplified through social media.
- Create assets that are fit for format and on brand providing an exceptional online and offline experience (i.e.. IG - feed, stories, reels, guides, collaterals, flyers).
- Ensure all imagery, videos, descriptions, and copy are in keeping with the Brand's Visual Identity and tone of voice.
- Create and distribute social content to the Belmond Commercial Organisation and Product Sales Teams.
- Training and Development_
- Ensure attendance at training webinars run and organized by central team.
- Attend scheduled calls and programs regarding brand changes, yearly strategy and implementations.
- Foster relationships and communication with corporate teams to ensure content of Mexican hotels is published by developing a communications plan.
- Act as guardian of the brand for all the social media channels and hotel's printed materials and, help to elevate the quality of assets and initiatives to match the brand.
- Community Management_
- Monitor social media conversations, actively engaging with and responding to its social media community in the brand voice across Mexico's channels.
- Influencer Activity_
- Develop local Influencer Strategy along with PR agency and Area PR & Communications Manager and the Divisional Brand & Marketing team, utilizing Belmond's influencer monitoring tool.
- Working with PR agency team, actively select content creators to support local stories/experiences and create on-brand social content.
- Help the properties qualify influencer requests and lead Influencer visit pitching, management, and complete organization including agenda.
- Analyze the influencers' trip performance and deliver reports.
- Foster Individual Influencer Stays by providing interesting story angles.
- Reporting and Analysis_
- Responsible for ongoing management of reporting and analysis for all social media metrics in order to react and plan actions to increase engagement and number of followers, and online revenue, utilizing Belmond's social media reporting tool.
- Responsible for elaborating monthly reports for each channel.
- Responsible for managing Sales and Marketing expenses
- Collateral and Content Creation_
- Creating collateral for promotions and events according to Belmond templates (F&B and Spa promotion flyers, key inserts, special weekend events, special events, in-house communications).
- Update, management, and creation of hotel collateral: Fact sheet, proposal, PowerPoint presentation, menus for all F&B outlets, concierge book, etc.
- Video Filming: oversee property filming to create useful sales tools to portray property while staying brand compliant.
- Organization of photo shooting and updating imagery as per brand requirements.
- Manage all aspects of printing, production, and distribution of brand image for hotel properties.
- Designing of all social communications: Facebook, Instagram, and any other social media channel.
- Creation of sales materials for presentations, fairs, and specific items to send to clients.
- Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the sales department, detailing the activities of the year to meet the agreed company goals.
- Make sure any branded material is aligned with the brand guidelines by performing monthly audits and reporting to the local and divisional Brand & Marketing teams.
