.Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Area Supervisor.**What you'll do**:A. Facilitate the daily workforce performance.B. Coordinate production activities with supporting groups to ensure safety, quality and production objectives.C. Supervise the shipping and receiving of all freight into and out of the plant. Ensure customers satisfaction with the service provide as well as delivery time.D. Promotes company's mission by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and values as well as quality policies.E. Advise staff personnel on daily production status.F. Promote Standardize work methods and ways to improve them. Promote continuous improvement cultureG. Provide and implement training that will enable personnel to better perform their goals.H. Improve performance on production teams in regard to safety behavior, discipline, standard work and overall people performance. Assist General Supervisors in determining personnel requirementsI. Conduct weekly department meetings with associates regarding communications, department and plant concerns, and policy interpretation.J. Ensure that systems and operations are compliant with prescribed quality system requirements and identify and implement improvement opportunities. Define root causes to scrap and rework and develop permanent corrective action to reduce or eliminate.K. Coordinate daily shipping schedules with materials planning (documents, packaging)L. Monitor machinery, equipment and facility and initiate maintenance work orders as required, to ensure efficient, effective and safe working conditions.M. Promotes continuous improvement and promotes standardization across the plant and organization.N. Provides the best manufacturing solutions for the production process by benchmarking inside and outside the company and by selecting the adequate machinery, equipment and technology available in the market.O. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.LI-DS2**Qualifications**:A. Engineering degree or related fields required.B. 3 to 5 years' experience in manufacturing processes (environment preferably automotive)C. English - language capability, speaking, reading & writing requiredE. Knowledge of behavioral science, including the ability to motivate, counsel, and constructively deal with people at all levels.F.
