**About the role**
The IT Lead, FICO will be responsible for the end-to-end operations and project delivery for finance, controlling, and accounting processes. Reporting to the IT Director, this role acts as a demand manager and IT project manager for any requirement or initiative requested by the functional areas or IT Business Unit leaders within Procurement.
The IT Lead will assess and prioritize any new requirement by coordinating all necessary IT stakeholders. In addition, this role will provide recommend IT solution delivery with a structured IT implementation plan, ensuring the final delivery is on time and in full scope.
**Key Job Accountabilities**
- Responsible for all aspects of operational support, enhancement and project delivery for Finance, Controlling, Material Ledger, Accounting and Financial Master Data in ARP LATAM
- Assist LATAM IT Director in achieving the objectives of IT in the region.
- Manage a structured demand management process in collaboration with business leaders resulting in a prioritized IT portfolio aligned with LATAM leadership and ARP IT
- Support business leaders in the standardization of processes driving them to standardized solutions and ARP IT standards
- Execute program and project management processes to ensure appropriate planning and delivery of IT projects and solutions
- Align any new initiative with regional and global leads to ensure the IT template governance
- Propose IT improvements that support the Procurement workstream needs and strategies
- Lead and manage IT business analysts and consultants during the implementation of new initiatives
- Manage and ensure the proper resolution of incidents and break fix tickets supported by the AMS team
- Manage requirements, design, customizing, Technical specification, testing, training, implementation, optimizations and maintenance of SAP FI, CO, and financial master data supporting the entire LATAM business
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or equivalent experience
- Project management experience is required, MM certification is a plus
- Fully professional proficiency in English is required
- Experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP project implementation is required
- Experience collaborating with IT architecture and SAP governance teams
- Experience participating in IT strategic planning processes
- More than 8 years dedicated proven experience in IT within multinational procurement companies
- Proven knowledge and experience with project management including technical project management of SAP enhancement delivery. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with development of business cases, detailed project planning, resources planning and management, budget control, risk management and scope management
- Proven experience of leading IT projects from the definition through the implementation and promotion to support on at least three large-scale projects, including at least two SAP implementation in finance areas (FI, CO, Accounting).
- Completed solution configuration for all areas of own FI/CO sub-domain
- Skills required for this role include FI, CO, PS, AR, AP, GL, variance calculations, COPA, Intercompany, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Cost Center Assessments and Distributions. Experience with Material Ledger (Split valuation & Costing) is a plus
- Deep experience in SAP Finance and CO specialized in Product Costing SAP ECC 6.0
- Complete process understanding of overall perspective of Product Costing - Cost Components, variance analysis, COPA, costing sheets and costing variants
- Broad understanding of business processes and solutions and solid understanding of how SAP and various technologies are utilized within FI/CO area
- Excellent analytical, business writing, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Project Systems (PS) configuration and/or support experience is preferred
- Experience in SAP integration during M & A and Roll Outs is preferred
- SAP FICO certification
- Proven experience of successfully collaborating and working at multiple levels of the organization and in multiple countries/cultures
