**Job Title**: Medical Administrative Assistant

**Main Responsibilities**:
- **Reception and Scheduling of Patients**:
- Meet patients upon arrival and check them in.
- Scheduling and confirming patient appointments, both in person and by phone or online.
- Manage the appointment calendar efficiently and assist walk-in patients.
- **Administrative Support**:
- Maintain and update patients' medical records in the electronic health system.
- Prepare and process insurance claims, billing, and payment collection.
- Assist in the management of medical supplies and office inventory.
- **Patient Assistance**:
- Provide patients with information about clinic services and answer general questions.
- Assist patients in filling out necessary forms and ensuring proper documentation is collected.
- Help manage patient flow, ensuring mínimal waiting times and efficient service.
- **Medical Records Management**:
- Manage patient records and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive patient information, complying with clinic policies.
- Use the patient portal to update records, schedule appointments, and process patient requests.
- **General Office Duties**:
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and scanning.
- Keeping the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming to patients.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Additional certification in Medical Office Administration is preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Proficiency in the use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, in both English and Spanish.
