**Position**:Referral Coordinator**Summary**: Our office in Monterrey provides remote service to several Medical Offices in the United States. This position obtains authorization from insurance companies to assist patients in the referral process. Referral Coordinators assist patients by coordinating referral appointments with healthcare specialists.**We're offering**:- Salary: $19,000 pesos before taxes monthly- Monthly productivity bonus based on departmental metrics- Schedule will depend on the region- Mandatory law benefits- Club Salud Membership after 90 days (medical discounts)**Responsibilities**: (This list may not include all of the duties that may be assigned. )- Obtain authorizations for all referral requests received as assigned- Review and understand documentation required by insurance companies to obtain authorization, including clinical notes, lab results, consult notes- Utilize insurance web portals to obtain authorizations as required- Accurately documents referral details, including status, authorization dates, authorization number, specialist/facility and other relevant information per policy- Effectively communicates updates in referral status with patients, clinicians and office site staff- Interacts professionally with specialists/facilities and insurance plan representatives- Remains current with company, health plan and specialist requirements- Prioritizes use of preferred specialist/facility within the system- Meets productivity standards as determined by management team- Manage workloads to meet established timeframe expectations- Works collaboratively with department team members to ensure coverage- Manages high priority notifications and requests appropriately- Reviews and updates requests pending authorization daily- Communicates and collaborates effectively with Referral Manager and team members**Education Requirements**: High School diploma or equivalent**Location**:Must reside in the Monterrey Metropolitan Area**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:- Skills in operating a computer.- Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instruction in English and Spanish.- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.- Ability to speak and write English and Spanish clearly and concisely.- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and the public.**Job Types**: Full-time, PermanentPay: $19,000.00 per monthWork Location: Hybrid remote in 66260, San Pedro Garza García, N.
