**Position Name**:Virtual Medical Office Assistant**Job description**: Our office in Monterrey provides remote service to several Medical Offices in the United States. Virtual office assistant help with verification of insurance, care gaps, claim creation, and document management while meeting operational and quality metrics.**Essential duties and responsibilities**:- Resource schedule (Locating/modifying patients and appointments using EMR)- Patient profile management (Modifying/adding/reviewing patient's account information, progress notes, and encounters)- Verification of well visits- Identify patient's care gaps and communicate to clinic- Identify need of immunization records- Obtain/attach patient's immunization records using Immtrac portal- Insurance verification (Read eligibility and benefits using EMR system and Web portals)- Appointment documentation- Claim creation and processing- ICDs & CPTs verification in progress note- Basic knowledge on prices of services provided by company- Old patient balance evaluation- Meet departmental productivity goals- Meet departmental quality metrics**Education**: High School Diploma or equivalent**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:- Ability to learn and practice company procedures, policies, and protocols- Bilingual (English proficiency in grammar, spelling, and verbal skills to communicate with patient, provider, and staff in written documents)- Customer Service- Basic Computer skills (Microsoft word, Excel etc.)- Phone Etiquette- Identify and escalate priority issues- Be punctual and follow company's protocols**Experience**:- Prefer one-year work experience with knowledge of computer and medical terminology**Additional information**:- Paid training- Productivity bonus depending on compliance with productivity metrics- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm- Mandatory legal benefits- "Club Salud Familiar" Membership after 3 monthsTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $11,500.00 al mesBeneficios:- Programa de referidos- Seguro de gastos médicosHorario:- Lunes a viernes- Turno de 8 horasEducación:- Bachillerato terminado (Deseable)Experiência:- call center: 1 año (Deseable)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)
