.**Asociado de Investigacion Vegetales Chihuahua-Laguna**Responsabilities:Responsible for planning and executing experimental protocols and performance trials in protected culture and/or open field environments.Develops, executes, and continuously improves a strategic testing plan in alignment with business objectives defined by the leadership.Execute protocols and trialing projects to produce high quality data, enabling breeding partners to advance new products based on performance for market needs.Operates research equipment, data collection, data management with internal IT systems, and complying with seed stewardship standards.Captures data in company internal data systems and conduct data quality checks to enable timely advancement of vegetable products.Leverage metrics and quality control processes to realize accuracy, efficiency, and expanded improvements to protocols.Adopt innovations in digital phenotyping and provide feedback to automation engineering on new tools and systems.Explore innovative technologies/ideas to expand capacity, increase process efficiency, and deploy novel technologies in data collection and crop management systems.Creates productive relationships with grower cooperators to ensure timely task completion, data integrity and continuous flow on trialing programs.Ensure compliance with Bayer policies and quality standard, including safeguarding of equipment, data, processes and IP protection.Help develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement through workstream evaluation, idea sharing, innovation, and technology adoption Collaborate closely with scientists and key partners to ensure appropriate data package delivery and that the data is stored in appropriate company-approved databases Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons (including non- traditional day-time hours with the potential of overnight travel) Leadership to coordinate the Watermelon and Melons trials across México, which implicate organize with open communication the TRAs which have trials of both crops in their regions, from trials request to relinquish data for Advancement meeting. Fully adopt the Safety culture "Safety First".**Skills**:Education: BSc. in Horticulture, Agronomy or related field with 4 years' experience or a MS with 2 years of experience.Knowledge and experience with agricultural equipment and related research aspects, on the vegetable crops industry preferably.Demonstrated ability toperform successfully on developing and executing project plans, analyzing, and interpreting data in a relatively low supervision environment.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to effectively achieve business results.Capacity to communicate and work effectively with all management levels in a multi-cultural organization.English skills good enough to write reports and communicate with stakeholders
