- SUMMARY- Assembly and wiring of assemblies using wiring diagrams and Engineering drawings.- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.- Ability to read and follow schematics, Engineering drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Assemble, and build simple to complex systems using Engineering drawings.
- Neatly wire subassemblies and large cabinet systems following wiring diagrams.
- Able to use of wide range of hand and power tools including electrical or mechanical fixtures and gauges, standard measuring devices such as dial indicators, crimpers micrometers, drills, jigs, and fixtures, etc.
- Confers with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding schedules, work orders, procedures, and to resolve problems.
- Must follow safety policy and procedures.
- Inspection of own and work of others.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- QUALIFICATIONS- The Assembler must be able to read and understand technical documents and procedures, wiring diagrams and schematics to allow for proper assembly and wiring. The Assembler must have thorough technical knowledge of all products within their work group, have the ability and desire to be cross trained on multiple products outside of their work group. The Assembler must be able to work in a team environment and must be able to communicate effectively with Technicians and production personnel daily.
