Ensures compliance with existing policies and procedures and initiates and manages improvement activities.
**Experience and Education**- Finished Professional Career (preferred)- 5 years of experience leading a production area- Experience in the automotive industry**Knowledge, Skills and Certifications**- Ability to motivate and delegate authority to subordinate staff.- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to make decisions, computer skills.- You must be familiar with lean manufacturing concepts including MRP, JIT system, ISO, SPC and SAP.
**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**- Show leadership and commitment to the QMS and customer focus, lead all assembly operations in the plant and coordinate the work of the production departments through familiarity with all assembly processes; ongoing knowledge of customer shipping requirements, business hours and quality levels; personnel necessary to comply with these schedules.- Promote continuous improvement.
Responsible for the identification, implementation and verification of opportunities for continuous improvement.- Performs plant inspections to ensure safe work practices through visual observations, memos, personal guidance and, if necessary, corrective actions.- Responsible for the implementation and compliance with BRPMS standards.- Establish, implement, maintain and improve the QMS.
Responsible for the overall quality of the assembled product.- Provide all necessary resources to maintain and support the QMS
