What you will doRole Overview:The Asset Management Associate will support the commercial oversight for operating assets located in Mexico, (starting at 500 MW) and ensure all commercial and governmental obligations are met. You will plan and track asset budgets, develop market knowledge and oversee performance. Additional responsibilities will include supporting the relationships with all the project stakeholders, including governmental agencies such as CRE, CENACE and CFE, among the most relevant ones, and their related processes, the management of commercial relationship with turbine OEMs and O&M service providers and ensuring that the operations strategy and management framework developed by the Asset Management team is implemented consistently across assigned projects.
Main responsibilities:Budget and Financial Performance Oversee project profit & loss (P&L) activities for assigned assets, identify gaps and provide recommendations to address, and support the development of project-level annual budgets and creation of longer-term business plans.
Commercial Facilitate Service Agreements and support execution of contracts by working with Procurement and Legal.
Interface with Operations, Performance Management, turbine original equipment manufacturers, and service providers on routine operational issues and on initiatives in an effort to increase operational and financial performance and reduce risk exposure.
Performance and Continuous Improvement Perform ad-hoc analyses of the historical and forward-looking performance of the asset. Support Performance Management in creation of business cases to management.
Compliance Track and manage obligations and activities to ensure commercial and governmental obligations for the major agreements (e.g., turbine supply, O&M, PPA, credit agreements, landowner, and interconnection). This includes providing necessary commentary and reports as required under the company's financing obligations.
Enable relationships with government agencies such as CRE, CFE and CENACE, among the most relevant ones, to support the project obligations and needs, coordinated with the Government Affairs team and following the company's guidelines and FCPA practices.
Act as the Legal Representative of the projects on written communications for administrative procedures.
New Project On-Boarding Track and manage obligations and activities related to bringing new projects from construction into operations, including PPA, LGIA, ISO and other requirements.
Additional duties as required.

What are we looking forBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or a related field;Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software and database development and management;3+ years of relevant experience; Experience in the renewable energy industry preferred.Travel:up to 10% of the time
