The Assistant Account Manager is responsible for: Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service and support.Account Management: Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by organizing and planning daily work schedules for assigned customers.Market Monitoring: Monitor current market by gathering information on pricing, products, new developments, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.Reporting and Recording: Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual territory analyses. Provide historical records by maintaining sales records for the area and customer accounts.Product Recommendations: Recommend changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.Issue Resolution: Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.Professional Development: Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing industry-related publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Major KPIs: Support Account Manager accomplish teams KPI's.Required: Professional Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales or account management, specifically targeting automotive customers.Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics at the automotive Tier 1 and 2 levels. Familiarity with program development requirements and the APQP process.Skills:Negotiation and Persuasion: Assistant in sales involve influencing and convincing others to reach mutually beneficial agreements.Communication: Effectively convey information and support interactions between internal team and clients.Problem-solving: Identify, analyze, and resolve issues efficiently and effectively by implementing strategies.Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or a related field is required, along with significant experience in sales.Personal Attributes: Organizational and Time Management Skills to manage multitasking efficiently: Resilience and Independence to dealing with the pressures of sales targets and client expectations.Networking: Proven ability to establish and maintain personal networks within the automotive industry.CRM: Familiar with CRM system.Willingness to Travel: Since the role may require visiting clients or attending industry events, flexibility in travel is necessary (25% minimum).
