- This position is located in the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Mexico Country Office, Mexico City. The incumbent reports to the Deputy Representative of the OHCHR Mexico Country Office.

- Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in business or public administration, finance, accounting, law or related field. A first-level university degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in combination with two additional years of qualified work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written) is required. To be considered fluent in a language, the proficiency level in all four specified areas (i.e. reading, speaking, understanding and writing) must be "fluent." To be considered to have knowledge in a language, the proficiency level in at least two out of the four specified areas must be "confident" or "fluent."
