.Job SummaryAs an Assistant Manager Golf, you are responsible for managing the day-to-day Golf and Club experience, including the golf course. You will oversee the management and performance of golf operations and applicable department operations and services to assure high standards and total customer satisfaction. Be a detail-oriented team leader with strong guest-centric, business, and organizational skills along with a passion for the game of golf. Develop all golf operations department budgets including past performances and forecasts to ensure that all financial goals are met as per guidelines, policies, and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor the day-to-day operation of the overall golf operation.Work cooperatively and collaboratively with team members, sharing and coordinating work tasks, building relationships, and contributing jointly to the overall effectiveness and success of the team.Oversee and enforce the golf operations policies, procedures, controls, and fee structures to ensure the safekeeping of assets, inventory, and resources.Supervise the maintenance of golf carts and golf operations personnel.Empower employees to provide excellent customer service.Strive to improve service performance.Show leadership in hospitality, excellent customer service, and create a positive atmosphere for guest relations. Schedule and chair regular staff meetings focused on customers, operations, revenue growth, cost containment, and continuous improvement.Occasionally play golf with members or clients of all skill levels to encourage enthusiasm.Establish guidelines for golf operations for the team to easily understand expectations and parameters.Maintain budget costs, wage costs, and support the company sales effort to drive top-line revenue.Prepare monthly budgets for golf sales promotion, daily golf, and tournaments.Build relationships with key persons in members, organizers, other departments, management, etc.Assist the team and management to ensure all club golf events or corporate event competitions.Liaise with other departments if required.Be available to members to assist with various needs and questions, maintaining the relationships.Conduct annual performance appraisals with direct reports according to SOP.Ensure employees are treated fairly and equitably.Act as a role model for all employees by demonstrating the behavior and work ethic expected of all employees.Comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health, and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company.Perform any other duties assigned from time to time by Management.QualificationsDiploma / Degree in a closely related field.Skills & AbilitiesStrong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Excellent customer service skills, friendly and personable.Self-motivated with the desire to promote and market.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
