Prepare monthly account analysis for all balance sheet accounts managed in The Plant, review reconciliation's prepared by shared services and investigate any discrepancies.2. Responsible for fixed asset accounting such as capital planning, depreciation forecasting, and managing Construction in Progress.3. Prepare and enter journal entries into QAD. Maintain the monthly journal entry log and ensure the completeness and accuracy of the general ledger data at month end.4. Assist with processing and coordination of timely month end closings. Ensure accuracy of financial records particularly as they relate to purchased burden, fixed manufacturing charges, exchange, depreciation and inter-company transactions.5. Responsible for freight accounting which includes premium freight analysis, freight forecasting, and FTS reconciliation.6. Prepare monthly HFM financial statements.7. Assist controller in preparation of annual profit plan and periodic forecasts.8. Assist in developing financial policies, procedures and internal controls and ensure they are being followed at the plant level.9. Conduct cost of goods sold and operational cost analysis for monthly financial closings.10. Provides back up within Finance Department.11. Responsible for balance sheet budget.12. Analyse weekly indicators including sales, scrap, efficiency and other key measures.13. Responsible for accurate monthly reporting and analysis of BBP metrics and MEQ sheets.14. Perform all roles and responsibilities as defined by the YF-IOS Systems Policies and Procedures, ensuring full C-SOX compliance.15. Ensure compliance to Environmental Health & Safety policy.16. Ensure all customer comments are reviewed, addressed and closed in a timely manner.17. Support the timely reporting of key financial information; monitor the performanceand quality of the activities performed based on agreed Key Performance Indicators ("KPIs").18. Support ongoing analysis of risks and opportunities.19. Other duties as required.
