GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION: This position reports directly to our Tax Supervisor, Accounting. The Assoc Analyst, Accounting, is responsible for supporting the electronic invoicing function, sales reconciliation for local tax authorities, provisions related to Sales, Rebates and Revenue Recognition, and General Ledger reconciliations. Mexico is a $90m business that requires strong understanding of value-added tax requirements, foreign exchange impacts and Customs documentation on imports/exports. This role will be involved in the administration of our Corporate Card program and supporting our internal controls self-assessment. RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES Daily processing of electronic invoice, credit notes and payment document according to tax authorities. Upload all electronic invoices and POD in customer web site for validation, according to the ship to address. Review correct payment application by customer invoice. Reconciliation of invoices processed in Oracle vs warehouse shipment report. Reconciliation for Oracle sales account vs Tax authority information. Value Added Tax monthly reconciliation. Calculate and review Revenue Recognition at end month process. Credit card corporative HSBC administration. Balance Account reconciliation in Blackline assignment for Rebates, Fixed Assets and Prepayments. Support internal controls self-assessment testing with the understanding of how to remediate control risks. KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education Accountant degree. Finance degree. Administration degree. Job Experience Six years of knowledge of general accounting. Knowledge and abilities of software packages: windows, accounting software. Advance knowledge of Microsoft excel. Oracle ERP. Knowledge and Skills Good knowledge of Microsoft office programs and Oracle environment. Excellent communication skills, customer service oriented. Good analytical skills.
