Recommends and implements sourcing strategies and networks in support of supply chain strategy. Directs supplier selections, negotiations, and contract administration.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, mitigate supply chain risks, and drive operational efficiency. Conduct thorough market analysis, identify potential suppliers, and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal value for the organization.Supplier Management: Oversee the management of supplier relationships, including performance evaluations, contract negotiations, and strategic partnerships. Maintain a robust supplier base and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier capabilities and compliance.Cost Management: Drive cost-saving initiatives through effective negotiation, volume consolidation, and value engineering. Identify opportunities to optimize costs while maintaining quality and reliability of goods and services sourced.Risk Management: Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, regulatory, quality, and operational risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply.Contract Management: Lead the drafting, negotiation, and management of supplier contracts, defining service level agreements, terms and conditions, and performance metrics. Ensure alignment with business requirements and mitigate legal and operational risks.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing activities with business objectives, ensure integration of the supply chain, and drive cross-functional initiatives to optimize sourcing and procurement processes.Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, technological developments, and competitive dynamics within the supply market.
