Supply Planning (30010051)GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe Customs Trade Compliance Department is responsible for complying with all laws and regulations for trade in Mexico. Documents such as Invoices, BL, and PL are reviewed to ensure correctness, and we share the correct commercial information of the product with the Customs Broker through a Letter of Instructions in Excel, determining our correct HTS and description of the product. We also prepare relevant letters for clearance (3.1.8, Art. 54 and our UVA letter), and Pedimentos are reviewed before payment to verify that the information is correct. We maintain contact with our Verification Unit to enforce our NOMS labeling.Other activities for which the Ansell Trade Compliance team is responsible include keeping our electronic and physical records up to date for compliance with laws as well as any audits that may be performed.This position reports to the Manager, Logistics Supply Chain Trade Compliance LAC.Basic functions:Document review (invoices, BL, PL, and CPTPP)Preparation of letters of instructions and corresponding letters for imports.Review of ProformasReview of Certificates of OriginUpdate and maintain physical and electronic files.ART 81 compliance.RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIESEnsure that import operations are up to date and compliant with all legal requirements.Review documents to ensure all information is complete and correct.Prepare letters of instruction and share them with Customs Brokers.Conduct physical and electronic file audits.Upload all documents relevant to audits.Print HC and MV documents.Scan and send HC and MV documents to Customs Brokers.Review Certificates of Origin and compile physical certificates for all operations.Revise ART. 81 Tax Invoice vs Commercial Invoice to ensure compliance.Perform any other activities related to Customs Clearance and Trade Compliance within the department to fulfill all legal requirements for certifications from SAT and maintain the Importer of Records under regulations and import/export activities in a timely manner.KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTSEducationJob ExperienceAt least 2 years of relevant experience in Customs Compliance.Experience with VUCEM.Experience with SOIA.Experience with ANA.Experience reviewing a Pedimento.Experience with HTS.Experience with NOMS labeling.At least 3 years of experience working with Customs Brokers.Knowledge and SkillsGood English (written and spoken).Strong analytical skills.Good planning skills with a proactive approach.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Autonomous and organized.Stress-resistant with good priority management.Drive for results and team spirit.Problem-solving abilities.Able to work in a multicultural environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
