The Associate Account Executive will contribute to daily account work by assisting in small projects and contributing to larger projects as directed by project leaders. S/he will learn Edelman's various Public Affairs processes/approaches, including public engagement, stakeholder mapping exercises, political and economic situation reporting, development of public policy advocacy strategies, obtaining information from key stakeholders in policy decision making and support account teams in the execution of these processes for client
**Basic Qualifications & Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Political Science, International Relations) from an accredited college or university
- Fully Bilingual
- Monitors developments in the Executive and Legislative branches of government, demonstrating an understanding of politics and strategy development at both the national and regional levels.
- Ability to address a multi-tasking work agenda.
- Responsible for developing reports for clients.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Implements traditional and online research techniques to inform the clients about how the current socio-political environment may affect their businesses and their communication strategies.
- Participates and assists in program brainstorming, development, and planning for public affairs campaigns and projects.
- Identify and promote excellent relations with key stakeholders including politicians, media, associations, local communities, etc.
