**About the Job**Associate Attorney is tasked with developing corporate guidelines for labor and employment issues and providing labor-related legal advice to business teams.- Develop corporate guidelines for labor matters to ensure full compliance with state and federal agencies.- Provide legal advice to business teams in resolving labor and employment issues, including matters relating to hire and fire, job performance, overtime pay, and fringe benefits.- Prepare legal opinions regarding business dealings and press statements.- Research and analyze case law and prepare memoranda for review by supervising attorney.- Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Legal Department.- Other duties as may be required from time to time.
**Qualifications**- Must be legally qualified law degree and able to practice law in Mexico (Licenciado en Derecho) or J.D.
from the U.S.)- 2+ years of legal experience in labor and employment law and corporate governance.- 2+ years of experience of working at a law firm or corporate setting.- Fluent in both English and Spanish - written and spoken (native proficiency not required in both languages).- Willingness to travel and flexibility to work out of various locations.
