The Commercial Associate is responsible for the relationship of current customers and generating new leads through prospecting new accounts to meet sales goals. Engaging with customers to satisfy their financial and operating needs around their fleets. He/She is responsible for continuously identifying cost savings projects, growth opportunities and enhance performance that are in line with client practices and objectives. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the business operational process and standardize service product offering for Small Fleets. Previous experience in a sales role is required. Superb interpersonal and project management skills are a must.
Duties
- Generate new business opportunities with prospects. Identify needs and develop proposals with Elements value added services. Coordinate end to end sales process in order for a new customer on boarding (this will include risk under writing process, customer visits, contract negotiation and implementation process)
- Accountable for the overall relationship management of assigned clients. Primary point of contact. Coordinate internal areas to meet day to day or new requirements. Meet clients to maintain and growth business relationship. Oversee line renewals and legal changes.
- Resolve and escalate when necessary any customer's concerns, new business opportunities, or special demands and make sure that are delivered on the agreed time.
- New products & services introduction with existing clients to enhance profitability. Presentation of new products to prospects and clients once rolled out.
- Identify and articulate best practices within an industry. Demonstrated analytical ability, critical reasoning and strategic thinking skills are a must for success in this role
**Qualifications**:
- Education and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant business experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or other business-related
- Proficient in English language (both written and oral)
- Experience within the vehicle management or a related financial/asset-based industry is preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of time dependent on client portfolio and location.
- Willingness to learn and capable of adjusting to fast-paced & changing environment.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written), influencing and relationship building skills.
- Negotiation skills and strong customer focus. Proven levels of customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge and Competencies
- A solid understanding of leasing, rates, terms, financing alternatives, billing, vehicle expense reporting, service cards and the proven ability to service and sell to all levels within a client's organization.
- Must be a result focused self-starter with a high energy level with the ability to initiate and drive activities independently and reliability.
- Ability to manage volume and service opportunities and effectively close transaction.
